I have been looking forward to this wedding since Rachel and Steven booked with me! I actually grew up with Rachel as my next door neighbor and have countless stories of playing with her and all of the Quinlan siblings together. So when I say I was excited to book with Rachel, I mean it.

Rachel and Steven actually planned their whole wedding down south since Steven is in the military. So the week of their wedding we got together for a quick "rehearsal session." It's always nice to photograph couples before their wedding day (even if its two days beforehand) so I can see how comfortable they are in front of the camera and so it's not my first time meeting them the day of their wedding.

On Saturday, May 14, 2022 they officially tied the knot. We started the day at a cute Air BnB that had the perfect costal look to it. Rachel finished getting her hair and makeup done before we took robe photos. The rest of the day was spent at the Newport Officers Club on the Navy base. Rachel and Steven shared a sweet first look as the fog started to clear. The rest of the day was one big celebration with their close family and friends. Their first dance was followed by a small dance party and then speeches.

Thank you Rachel & Steven for having me be a part of your day. I'm so happy for you two and congrats again!

I practice photography all through middle school and high school, dabbled in food photography in college, before finding my love for couples photography towards the end of my degree. It was a scary leap to pursue a different career than the one I studied for but I knew this was what I needed to at least try...
